[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this bulb in my daughters room. I live that I can make it lighter during the day/evening when she needs a typical light bulb, and then a darker color when she needs i night light at night to sleep. It's easily changed from my phone, or I can even program it when I need to. I can save her favorite colors, and turn it off from down stairs. This has been a great fit for our situation. 

I would definitely recommend this to my family and friends. This is a great product.

These bulbs are worth the price, and the setup was very easy using the CYNC app (no smart hub required). The colors are customizable and you can choose from traditional light bulb colors like bright white, cool white, etc.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received this bulb the other day and I am happy with it. It took a little bit to get it to work  but it is a very  nice bulb. It has a lot of nice colors and it as fairly easy to get it hooked up with my goggle home mini. I recommend this bulb to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this is the best thing since sliced bread .. well, at least to me.  I have a small cottage that is just behind my folks' house that I occupy. I work nights but I don't like to leave the light on while I'm gone. The coolest part about this is once I get home from work and get within a certain proximity of my light, it will turn on. I don't have to fumble around in the dark or waste a bunch of money on electric bill. The app is super  easy to use also. When it's time to wind down for the night it's so convenient to be able to use the app on my phone to turn it off. It also gives you the option to change colors which is fun to have. I recommend this to anyone

These are too cool...

If you plan to connect this bulb to your Alexa you need the CYNC or C by GE smart plug. I'm not willing to buy the plug when there are lightbulbs that don't require an additional purchase to work with Alexa.

I got these in the mail fast! I purchased 9 of them and they all work fine but one of them just will not update to save my life!!!

These Work Great Overall

The C by GE Full Color Direct Connect Smart Bulb is a smart bulb that connects directly to the WIFI router providing voice control through Alexa and Google  (voice assistants).  There are a variety of different colors to choose from, such as blue, pink, red, purple, etc. The smart bulb can also come on at certain times with the “scheduling” feature.  My review is that I love this bulb for the changing colors, but I did not enjoy the setup process nor the CYNC app.  The setup process was long through the app because it couldn't locate my bulb, and the app doesn't look “ready” for public use as of yet.  For example, the font on the app is huge, and it makes it impossible to scroll down to read the full setup instructions.  The process was also difficult to connect to Google Home Mini, and when the lights are connected to my WIFI and on, the app can't locate it.  Since the app couldn't locate my light, it makes the “set schedules” feature unavailable.  All in all, I enjoy the light, but I don't like the app.  The app is useless, and I think that it needs to be updated to make the setup process and scheduling process easier.

Review of C by GE Full Color Smart Bulb

I got this for my grandson's birthday.  I was disappointed that this bulb did not work with Alexa voice..  I called tech support and they told me that I need to get a smart plug or order the smart bulb direct. They said this bulb would not work with voice without a hub..  So he has to work it with his phone.  Would not do voice through Google either.
