IT LOOKED TO BE OK %26 NEW, BUT UPON OPENING IT I COULD STRONGLY SMELL SOME KIND OF CHEMICAL THAT I TOOK FOR BREAK CLEANER, SO I OPENED THE GAS TANK AND FOUND A GAS SUBSTANCE (I think it's that gas mixture they sell in the can) tomorrow I'm excited to put some fresh gas in it and go to cutting… if it all works out I'm going to buy me another for a spare

If you're not a lumberjack, you will love this chainsaw because it's inexpensive and it will do what you need it to do... cut down an occasional tree or chop up a few limbs on your property.  I've got 2 acres that are heavily treed, and my 14" and 16" saws struggle to cut down the more mature cedar trees on the property.  I've used this one for a few days now, and as my wife said, "that one's going through those trees like buttah."  After priming with the choke, it usually starts on one pull.  The recoil starter is a little weird in that the cord doesn't connect directly to the crankshaft... there is some sort of spring mechanism in between, so when you pull the cord, you're winding a spring that suddenly releases and spins the crankshaft.  It's effective and may be common these days... my other saws are pretty old (and old-school), so I don't know.

Yes, it needs assembly but if you've ever used a chainsaw, you already know how to put on a new chain.  That's the "assembly".  If you don't know how to do that, why are you buying a 20" saw?  Start with something smaller!  Again, this may be old-school thinking, but the chain brake in the chain cover was unexpected, and took some getting used to during maintenance (I disassemble and blow out my saws with compressed air after every day of use).

There are a lot of plastic parts but that's expected these days... so I don't know how durable it will be in the long run.  I will use mine at most a week or two each year, and I'll maintain it carefully, so I think it will last several years.  If you need one for daily use, you should probably look elsewhere; I think this one is for us "DIY"ers.

I'm not a lumberjack and that's OK

I have used chainsaws since I was 13 years old and before this one own a 14", 16" gas/2 cycle, 14" 8" electric and usually borrowed a 20" from a friend when needed of a "high end brand" and well even though I only used this on soft wood and one oak about 10" across yesterday I can say this thing is a beast and the bar is FANTASTIC, the chain is great also.
The power this thing has is better than the borrowed one and I only needed to use partial throttle to blow through the oak and it did it with gusto. He was so impressed that he said this will probably be his next one. 
If this thing lasts nicely through property I am about to go through which I see no reason it won't he will buy.

I am really impressed with this chainsaw! It cut's really well. And for the price, I'm going to buy another one.

I used this 20 inch Garwinner chainsaw for half a day. It functioned fine. The chain eventually dulled. When I went online to look for a new chain, I could not find anything recommended for this particular chainsaw. Nothing was recommended in Walmart and when I went to Amazon, there was nothing showing listing Garwinner as a brand that new chains could fit.

I tried buying a 20 inch chain twice, but found none fitting. All being longer than the Garwinner bar. I'm looking for a chain that fits this bar as a replacement. Without it this chainsaw is worthless. It can only be file sharpened so much and then needs to be replaced. 

Any help that can be given from Walmart or others would be appreciated.

20” Saw works fine but what about a new chain?

I absolutely HATE when you are shown one item in photos, and sold another.
After looking everywhere for documentation pre-purchase, the only place that shows the gas/oil mixture ratio is the first image, you have to zoom in to see 25:1 sticker under the handle (I am uploading in case the switch it out).
I spent over $200 buying a special 25:1 Gas Can, and many 6 packs of oil specifically for 25:1 1 gallon use, I have already received all of these, and only anticipate receiving the chainsaw now.
Upon receiving and opening the chainsaw shipped to me the very first thing I  noticed was the 50:1 sticker under the handle.
Obviously the chain saw in the images is different than the one they send us.

Bait and Switch different chainsaw received

As soon as I started running this chainsaw after a few minutes it starts smoking really bad I shut it off removed the brake cover and the inside plastic was melting.

Bad Product

Purchased as a gift for my husband. Only like the price of the chainsaw, you had to put it together yourself. It didn't work, pull to start  wouldn't work ! My husband tried several times.  He said no Sparks, hard to pull , probably the spark plugs are bad. Wouldn't recommend this 20” chainsaw.

20” Chainsaw

Don't buy. The chain keep popping off the bar. After every tree cut, I'd have to stop and readjust the chain tension. It felt very unsafe. I contacted customer service and they are giving me a hard time regarding a refund. There is no phone number to call and the email from customer service told me to take pictures of the issues and they'll try to help me through it. Just don't buy this thing. Period.

they charged me over 100$ for a chainsaw it showed it was delivered in my mailbox when i went to get it it was just a small black bubble envelope with a 50% off coupon for the same saw i just paid over 100$ for? this seller is a fraud and they sell nothing but coupons for their products you pay them full price for the product then they will send you a coupon so you only have to pay an additional 50% of the total cost for the product so they actually chargeyou 150% of the total cost for the product i've attached a picture of my chainsaw i got from them they area joke please dont waste your money
