Arrived dented! Oddly, the protective film was already peeled back where the dent was. I'm not sure if this was a return? All packaging appeared new. I am not sure if I will return this or not as the price was a good deal, but I would prefer no dents.

Received the much anticipated Hosense refrigerator today. i am very disappointed with the many dents on the door - 2 very big dents %26 2 small dents. All are very noticeable. it is suppose to be placed in the common area of the house. Because of the dents it maybe an eyesore so I'm uncertain if I'll keep the refrigerator or return it to WalMart. Will see how well it works before making a final decision.

As is widely reported on this forum, this item often arrives with damage. Returning it to Walmart is difficult. In my case, the damage was slight enough that I can tolerate.

BUT this fault falls back on the manufacturer rather than the seller or shipper. Clearly the packaging used is not sufficient to protect the item in normal shipping.

So the fridge is actually nice, however the shipping is horrible. The fridge came in dented, like a huge dent on the side. I used shipping because I don't have a vehicle to fit it in. How am I supposed to exchange or return now??? Only option they give is to drop it off. Very inconvenient

Bad shipping

This unit would have been good, it lives up to most of the expectations to its older brother living in our basement purchased 10  years ago.

* 4.4 foot storage - works out nicely, older design was a bit more efficient

* Bottom shelf - there used to be a cheap plastic drawer below the shelf which they seem to have discontinued, I'd personally rather have the drawer as the glass shelf is 1/2 the size of the fridge so it falls out very easily (and thus removed.)

* Older unit has a much better organized door shelving system -- new one's bottom shelf is pretty useless unless you use today's "mini" soda or vegetable juice cans

* "Freezer" should not be used for heavy objects -- frozen pizza (12" or smaller should fit) and/or ice trays AT MOST as it will not take much effort to crack the connection between the pipe that comes from the condenser into the "freezer" area that feeds the radiator, which they're leaving it doubling as the only "shelf" to put things on - it's VERY thin so should be treated as very fragile.  I was only planning for ice trays, so this works out for me.

Beyond the quirks of the newer design, the unit we received was dented on the front door which there's nothing that can be done short of replacing the door and a large dent on the side which I was able to pull out where it's almost unnoticeable.  It works (cools) perfectly...  I just didn't PAY for DAMAGE, so this one may be going back (if I can - I'm currently injured and without the use of my right hand/arm; already had to pay someone to unload it from my vehicle.)  From my understanding, a good number of people are receiving damaged goods -- this is not (usually) a factory's doing and considering I purchased mine from our local Wal-Mart store's inventory whereas most reviews here likely didn't get theirs from our store...  it sounds to be a main warehouse issue.

I had ordered this for my disabled mother and today she opened the box and found the fridge dented. I reached out to Walmart and they originally wanted me to have my mother print out a return label and fully refund me money and order this all over again. I told customer service NO for 2 reasons, my mom doesn't have a printer and can't drive and we live in different states. I told them I wanted a refund amount of at least $50 because I shouldn't have received this damaged. After speaking with a “account specialist” she said they can only give me back $22.85. I took it because it's better than nothing. My point is order items at your own risk because they might be delivered damaged.

Found this for a great deal. Guess it's another too good to be true. Ordered online %26 delivered by FedEx.  Arrived damaged.  Makes you sick to think about it. There are dents and dings in the front, top, sides, back, %26 bottom. How is this even possible?  Did it come from a warehouse or trash dump??

Absolute Junk

The refrigerator I bought came with marks and beats on each side. As you can see in the box this is how it arrived into my apartment and I am dissapoinited with it. It still works but if I knew it would arrive beaten up I would have bought a used one for half of the price.
