My freezer was delivered in an SUV and left in my driveway upside down. No one rang my doorbell.  They just dropped it off and left.  I would of called them to come pick it back up if there was any damage to the box, but the box had no imperfections at all so I figured I had received an undamaged product.  NOT SO.  My husband was out of town for a couple of weeks so I was unable to open it for awhile and took another week so he could run a direct electric line to it.  Once opened, it had a large dent that went from the front to the side.  How could this happen with a perfectly unmarred box? Is the company taking their returns and reboxing them?? I looked all over for a phone number to call Walmart to lodge my complaint, but all you can talk to is a computer and there is no area to talk about damages.  Will this dent void the extra warranty I paid for from Walmart?  I went ahead and plugged it in and have monitored the temperature for 2 weeks now and it seems to be running fine even with the  dent.  I don't really care about the dent as the freezer is in a place that only the family can see, but I do believe I am due a discount due to the damage.  Should I have to pay full price for a damaged freezer?  I like the freezer.  It is the perfect size for us so I gave only 3 stars due to the way it was delivered by Walmart and because of the manufacturer's attempt at trying to hide the damage by reboxing.

Buyer Beware

Just opened my chest freezer and there was already dents on them. Walmart workers need to make sure they handle products with care.. overall it's ok but maybe not wanna buy from Walmart..

Dented freezer

bought this freezer and when i took it out the box it was all dinged up. i needed the deep freezer so bad but didn't want to bring it back after getting its from the store to my house.

So I was like , what a steal ! Got it for $40 off the original pricing . Nice arrival time , got to my door , no dents on the box , BUT as soon as I open the box to inspect the freezer , one HUGE Dent . Look it's a great freezer BUT if I pay brand new price , I expect brand new freezer , if I wanted a dented on I could've paid Lowe's for a returned and expected this . To top it off I contact support they gave me a promo code of $15  instead of fixing the issue itself . What's $15 compared to almost $200 in price and shipping . Honestly I'd say get it but don't expect it to be brand new , expect a mystery box .

Found out why it's on sale

I picked up the freezer from Walmart curbside today and opened it and there was big dent on the front of the lid. So since I just got it today, I can't rate base on usage yet. Hoping it works well. But not happy to see this dent.

I was excited to receive this deep freezer, just delivered today. Unpackaged it and there was a very bad dent on the lid, as if the corner was smashed in with something or the freezer fell from a height and landed on the corner. I'm disappointed that it was handled with such poor care. I won't be purchasing appliances from Walmart again.

Damaged/dented once unboxed

It was factory damaged. I only found out after getting it, getting it unloaded. Because I ordered online for pickup, I tried to get online options to start the process. None that I could find. Now I need to load it, drive it back to the store, unload it, take it in, only then figure out a solution.
It works just fine and I needed it quickly. I will keep it and explore factory options if any. 

My time is worth something as is everyone else's. It's not worth the cost of time vrs the cost of the product to put any more effort in the problem.

So I recommend you physically unbox it at the store during pickup with an associate there. That way the swap out time is minimal and you get what you paid for!

Damaged Found-after we got unboxed at home.

i will never buy hisense or from your company again. product was concealed damage was delivered at 618 in am so i didnt see it until 745 am now no one wants to replace or discount my hugely dented n dropped freezer.  never will i come back and i will advise everyone your policy !!

Had a huge crease going all the way from top to bottom. This unit also uses, "Highly Flammable Refrigerant", which seams absolutely stupid. If it leaks and its switch sparks, will it light my house on fire?
Don't know returned because of damage will not be getting another one of these.

Arrived damaged.

I received my deep freezer this morning.  The box was in perfect condition but the freezer had a big dent at the bottom.  Now I have to load it up and take it to Walmart.  This is not what I paid for.
