First I did have to research how to do it.  I didn't see instructions nor did I get instructions from code.  Definitely more hands on then using a machine.  Start by weighing your whole beans then smashing in a mortar to the desired consistency. Next make in your expresso maker or moka pot.  Steam milk and froth and there is a perfect pitcher that came with the set to do a slow foamy pour.

Barista necessity

Even if you don't have a Kaffè machine, if you have one even better, this 4 piece expresso tools age awesome. A must have, makes it so easy each time I use it!  You have a measuring cup with measures I can see. An expresso scale with timer, a tamper mat to pack your coffee, it doesn't make sound and I don' t wake anyone, and an expresso knock box with a cute knocker.  I would recommend this to every one.

It's a must have!

My husband has an espresso addiction and is on the hunt to create the perfect shot. This set was a surprise to him, and right off the bat he was thrilled for the scale. He loves knowing his exact measurement so he can get the right dose. The mat is convenient and the frothing pitcher has measurements inside, making it easier to use right off the bat.

It is a 4 piece kit that includes an espresso knock box, espresso scale with timer, measuring cup, and a temper may. It is great in order to produce a thick, concentrated coffee. Specially when I’ve had long coffee 9 hours days this is a must. Having these tools can benefit me whenever I need to add an extra espresso shot in my coffee. I also love how it comes with a scale and 2 little rubber coaster. The measuring cup feels smooth like steel. What I love the most is the scale I can use it for everything now. I can use to weight my food for meal preps and also for my espresso shots at 1:2 ratio. The whole predicts look like they’re good quality.

Great product

I love the Kaffe Espresso tool kit. It comes with a scale, knock box, measuring cup and a 2 in 1 tamper mat. It makes having Espresso's so much easier and fun. It also makes me look kind of professional so that's cool too. I would definitely recommend this set to anyone who is serious about their Espresso making like I am.

Kaffe 4 piece Espresso tool kit

I enjoy espresso so much that I took time to educate myself on the proper way to make it. It's important to be as precise as possible to ensure a flavorful experience. Espresso, for me, is not just a beverage it's a treat. I found the tools I need in the KAFFÈ espresso tools starter kit. This kit includes an espresso knock box, measuring cup, Espresso scale with a timer and a 2 in 1 tamper mat. All of them are black so they match my machine. The knock box, also called a bash bin, is used to catch the used espresso grounds once you knock the coffee filter against it. The knock box bar is removable for easy clean up. The measuring cup is really nice! The 2 in 1 tamper mat is anti-slip and can be fitted up against my counter for proper tamping stability. It's also easy to clean! The scale is a wonderful tool for perfect measuring as well as accuracy in timing the extraction of my espresso shot. I'm so happy with this kit because I'm creating my perfect personal espresso station.

Espresso Is A Treat!

A neat set up. Best part is the scale. I never thought to weigh my coffee but it is a great way to ALWAYS get a perfect cup of espresso. Set comes with a frother pitcher, a receptacle to tamp grinds out and tamper pad. Unfortunately it did not come with tamper but it did come with the tamper pad. The scale takes 3AAA batteries.

This kit comes is useful with any espresso machine. The measuring cup has the handy scale on the inside making it easy to get accurate measurements.  The measuring cup measurement scale withstands numerous washes without fading. The handy 2-1 Tamper mats works great on the counter.
The scale is a little flimsy but it has been accurate so far and the built in timer is quite handy. The knock box holds quite a few grounds.

This is a review for the kaffe expresso 4 piece  tool kit ,it comes with everything u need ,nice sleek giftable packaging,elegant looking pieces ,however the quality leaves more to ask for ,the scale especially is so cheap feeling it feels like a toy ..

Nice looking ,not best quality

I was disappointed when I received this product.  The photo is a 5 pc set, but it does say it would be  4pc. That wasn't the problem. The problem is the description stated there was a tamper, it was a tamper mat. The tamper was the key item I was looking for. The accuracy of the scale needs work too. It is more accurate then a normal food scale, but it is not consistent. I took a small cup & placed it on the scale adding sweetener to it. Then removed it and placed it getting different measurements three times. The only plus item is the frothing pitcher that have the measurements etched on the inside making it easy to ready without fear of the number wearing off with use.
