I was so excited yet so nervous when I came across this ice maker. So many brands claim to make “nugget” ice but the GE is the only one I’ve seen that actually does…. Until now! This ice maker is half the price and makes the exact same ice! My mom and sister both have the GE and I loved it just couldn’t bring myself to paying the price they were asking. I’m glad I didn’t, this one is way more visually pleasing and honestly I think the basket size is bigger as well. Super happy with this purchase!

Best Surprise!

I have been wanting a countertop ice maker for years now, and I have always had my eye on the GE Opal, but the price point was just too high for the convenience of the machine. Enter this beautiful Orgo ice maker with the GOOD ice at a fraction of the cost. Run, do not walk, to place your order while it is on sale!

Nuggets of frozen heaven

Have had the product for 1 week now. My husband and I are very happy with this ice maker. Makes small, crunchy, yet soft nugget ice in just minutes. It does not melt quickly. Container fills in a few short hours. I would recommend this item. Well worth the $$$.

Love it!

Has been a great addition to our kitchen! We all love the chewy ice it makes and it encourages us to drink water. While weekly maintenance is required (as it is with any machine that uses water) it is a breeze! Also, it recycles the water if any ice melts meaning it will catch the water and make ice with it again. This was one of the questions I had that went unanswered before purchasing but I’m glad it worked out. It is big and takes up quite a bit of space so make sure you have the room for it. Otherwise I five out of five recommend.

Every home should have this product! The appearance is very nice! The product is made well and heavy! This was the perfect addition to our home. It makes ice very quickly and the nugget taste amazing! We love it so much that we bought two of them. One for home and the other for my wife’s job!!!

Awesome product for half the price!!

I’ve only had it out of the box for 3 hours, but so far I love it.  Ice is perfect.  It’s about as loud as our refrigerator.  It has a constant hum about the same as our air fryer when in use or a drink vending machine, but how can you avoid that with a compressor running? Constant sound of ice dropping, but what do you expect.

To me, the sound is worth it for the soft, crunchy, fresh ice. 

It’s about half full after 2 hours of running.  I’m not an optimistic person, but I hope it lasts.  I assume that I will have an option to update this review in the future. If not, all I can say is so far, so good.  I bought the Walmart protection plan based on the many reviews of countertop ice makers in general.  

It came fully assembled, except for the exterior reservoir.  Instructions for first start up were straight forward.  Clean it, fill with water, plug in and start making ice.  I paid $200 plus tax and protection plan.

Great so far

Heavy and durable. Purchased the charcoal and so far so good. Debated over black and charcoal. But the aesthetic to this was superb. Glad I picked charcoal.. it’s like a light cloud gray. Make sure to run a clean cycle prior to use. It took 2 hrs  or so to fully have a a full bucket of ice. It is nugget size and just what I was looking for. I heard the GE profile opal was louder. I can’t really compare, but this one isn’t too loud. I don’t expect myself to stay in the kitchen to listen to the sound , so it doesn’t bother me at all. Got this for $198– what a steal! Don’t hesitate, buy it! Let’s just see how long it lasts :)

pretty aesthetic!

This item is amazing, it is much much quieter than the Ge Opal 2.0 and creates better ice than the Frigidaire Gallery machine and had a full bucket of ice in about 2 hours. It fits perfectly under counter to about half way so make sure you have the counter space. I took a while to land on a nugget ice maker without returning and this was the one. I am very happy with it even if it does continuously run it just means more ice. Love it and been eating nugget ice since I got it. See my pictures with flash and without.

Great Machine

I was originally looking for an Opal nugget ice maker, but honestly I want to say this is better. Better price, better looking. It is a bit bulky, but it matches my home aesthetic, it’s cute and comes in a lot of colors, I got the green one. Everyone loves it when they come over. The only comment I have is it’s hard to understand the directions at some points. You have to remove a a tube from the  nozzle to connect to the water line and it took me 10 minutes to make sure it was the right one.
