Mine did not come with a Jug. But I had several 5 gal jugs from my old one and it fits great. Im sure you could use a 3 gal jug too.

No, It does not come with a water jug. You can purchase the large water jugs at Wal-mart or any store. We use Culligan, this is our only choice here overseas. It does come with coupons for a percentage off water jugs.

Yes, there is a switch on the back of the unit at the top. It is very easy to turn on. We turn it off when we are going out of town or know we will not be using it. You can turn off the cold water as well

Yes. We use this machine. There is a switch for each operation/ function. You can also elect to turn off the cooler for the water. On a recent out of town trip I turned off the cooler for the water.

Yes, just turn off the switch for the hot water (on the back of the unit), there is 3 buttons on top hot water on left, cool water is in the middle & cold water on the right.

You can turn off the hot water, but the unit already has a separate room temperature button.
