Yes, yes I am lazy. These don't replace the occasional vacuuming with a full size vacuum but it sure makes life easier between the occasional deep clean.  I have three dogs and they love to chew up sticks, paper and everything else leaving messes.  Using this on the daily makes it way easier to keep the floors clean without dragging out a big vacuum daily.

After reading the reviews, some people loved it and some were very disappointed, I decided to go ahead and purchase the Shark EZ robot vac. I'm so glad I did! I have a 2,400 sq ft home with 4 different types of flooring. Travertine tile, ceramic tile, carpet and one room with dark laminate. We live in the desert, so we have sand plus Queensland Heelers and Border Collie dogs, they shed like crazy! I have some arthritis in my right shoulder so vacuuming every day can be painful. The little shark, we named her Anna, keeps the floors clean and hair free! The “verify my email” part was a pain in the donkey's butt. The link kept looping me back to sign up page and saying my email and password were wrong. So frustrating! I finally called customer service and someone had to verify it manually but the rep said it would take 24 hrs. It didn't, I tried again about 4 hours later and everything was good to go. It takes a bit to set up the app and WiFi but it's so worth it. I've read negative comments about the battery life not lasting past 6 months. I don't care, I'll buy a new battery because this machine is saving me time and work vacuuming my whole house. Overall, I'm very pleased with our Anna. :)

Very Happy!

Overall this has been a positive experience for me.  I have 2 dogs that go in and out.  We have tile floors with 2 rugs.  Rugs are not high piled. The shark is pretty good at getting the dog fur, fine dirt, and dirt from knocked over plants (beagle loves to play in the plants).  

I do have to watch the machine because it will miss areas.  I send it back to the dock and start over.  It seems to find the missed areas after that.  It does not do very well in corners.

Other than that I like using the vacuum.  I still use my Bissel featherweight stick vac to get in the corners.

I am pleasantly surprised

I got this to help with pet hair during the week as well as lighten the load of constantly sweeping/vacuuming almost everyday. Two things that sold me was the self-empty and the lane cleaning. Let me say this thing has been such a time saver! It has 3 different speed options. I use the highest speed for carpet as we have newer carpet and the lower speeds don't do as well on carpet. But eco or normal speeds do just fine on our laminate floors. It did take a few runs for the robot to learn the house, but now it does fine. Definitely make sure you pick up anything loose before it runs because it will try and suck up things like socks. I also love the feature to set a schedule. I run it everyday at 5pm and I don't have to worry about a thing!

Great robot

this thing is awesome. it took a couple runs for it to map out our house well, but now it knows every nook and cranny! it also has awesome item detection. a dog toy was laying on the floor and i noticed it kept coming back until i picked it up. once i did, it "looked" for the bone. didnt detect it so it went to the next area. it has great suction, does awesome around baseboards, fits under most of our furniture and has convenient features like alexa/google home activation, self emptying and cleaning reports. with 3 dogs and a cat this was absolutely worth every penny. im so glad i decided to get one! i love the row cleaning. i feel like its more thorough simply because you can see the robot progressing row by row.  If youre in the market for a new irobot vacuum, give this shark a try!

BEST PURCHASE

Works great. Best robot vacuum I've owned. Have a little patience the first few times if you have dogs. The vacuum did such a good job lifting dog hair it would clog the docking port. But after a few days rolling through the house it has the dog hair under control and I don't have to assist. I use this vacuum every single day. We have carpet and hard wood floors. App works well. Would definitely recommend.

This little machine is amazing! I have always owned a roomba and I emptied. I finally decided to switch to Shark and get a self emptying machine. I LOVE IT! This machine maps out your house and vacuumes every inch of it! And it runs for almost 2 hours!! I am super impressed and cannot believe I didn't buy this sooner! Just buy it!

Why did I wait so long?!?

Hair gets caught in the roller so I'm constantly cleaning it. Gets stuck everywhere. Can't find it's way back to the dock and when it does, doesn't line up correctly so it claims it can't empty. 
Every time I run it I get a notification either that it's stuck or somethings in the way and I have to go clean it out and start all over again. Takes 6 tries to vacuum a 1400 sq ft house. 
Today it started making a ridiculously loud sound. Don't even want to know what that is. Complete waste of money
