For all us single ladies out there with limited handy help I got the expert handy service offered to assist me with the assembly.  The guy that came in was very courteous and nice. I must say once everything is put together, it looks magnificent. The fireplace is amazing and doesnt look weird or cheesy in person, I received so many compliments. Perfect for apartment or small space that needs sprucing up. For now I just keep the flames on to add a pop to my living room area, you can switch the heat on or off to your liking. This tv stand is definitely a trend setter Im happy with my purchase ;) hope this helps someone

This tv stand with fireplace is a beautiful addition to our room....the heater really warms the room quickly and with the beveled glass doors on each side is really nice...putting it together is a little time consuming but worth it!

Warm and cozy!

instructions were a little unclear but we managed to get it together.  it fits perfect in the space I needed it.  we had trouble with the doors so we left them off

Overall the stand is decent enough for the $270 price. I would have been a little more upset at some of the craftsmanship, such as some pieces not fitting together and leaving gaps, if I had to pay the full $400 price. Easy enough to assemble (don't expect the glue they provide to be significant,  unless they add two more tubes). But it was exactly the type of stand I was looking for. Walmart was also the cheapest retailer selling this same unit. Heats well and the fake flame aren't as cheesy as other units I've seen.

Great corner stand if it's on sale.

Was a great present for my father in law, even though it took almost 3 weeks to come in and two and a half hours to assemble. He loved it! And it was much larger than I anticipated which was awesome.

I put this together myself-- a total mistake. Make sure you have someone there to help you out. While the job is done, it is in no way sturdy even after tightening the bolts over and over. It looks good now but i dread the thought of moving it, should i need to.  Seriously afraid it would fall apart if i even needed to move it across the room. This is my first diy project that resulted in a non-sturdy albeit wobbly end product.
