Rod is one inch diameter. Rod’s 26 1/4” length. Rod is 5 1/4” from top ‘wiring.” Holds approx 30-35 lbs of clothing on bar.

It is great! Good size, very nice looking! Overall a good buy!!! Our ceilings are 10 ft.  for size reference from my photos…… the first one is inside our halfway renovated closet so excuse our progress.

This is a garment rack I didn’t know I needed. I have a small laundry room by design. There is a full wall of cabinets on one side and a blank wall on the other so I was hanging clothes that don’t go in the dryer on hooks and had boots on the floor, among other things. It got pretty cluttered and left little room for laundry baskets. This garment rack is perfect for my needs! It’s a little wide but I’m going to move my washer and dryer over to make more room. Very easy to assemble by one person using the well written, illustrated instruction booklet. It includes all the bolts necessary for assembly an an Allen wrench. I used a drill to speed assembly. Do not over tighten the upper corner bolts. It will cause the metal to bend and you won’t be able to insert the decorative end caps. It’s best to insert the end caps first then insert the bolts. Somewhat lightweight after assembly so you can assemble in one room then move to another. Love the metal and faux wood look and the shelves are sturdy. I also love the hanging rack, which I can easily hang my just washed jeans on for drying. I used fabric bins to sit on the shelves. They hold my boots. Full shelves on the bottom. Good looking too. Will fit well in any room. Love it!

The garment rack I didn’t know I needed!

This garment rack was fairly easy to put together as long as you follow the instructions carefully. 
The caps to finish the ends, required a gentle tap with a hammer. It appears as if they should be put in first, because they will help keep the tube square, as the bolts are tightened. It has corner gussets to help keep it sturdy. The shelf slats are laminate, so they will easily wipe clean. We couldn’t find any measurements on the box or in the booklet, but it is very generously sized, I can hang a long dress. We are very pleased with this, although it’s too wide for the area where we had planned on placing it. We will need to remove a wall shelf in our extra bedroom to make it fit in there.

Received item in condition, assembly required.

Instrutions included and follow step by step to complete this assembly. Easy way I found was to use my power screwdriver attachments, allen wrench type needed, and go slow so you dont strip the screw. 

Once it is assembled you could use this in a basement room, or in a room in general with a closet that needs a little extra storage. Dont over load the bar with shirts or sweaters, though it may not hold up and break.

Its perfect for a pair of shoes, and some lightweight clothes.

Easy to move around, for its lightweight.

This was so easy to put together and looks so nice

worth the money

I love the farmhouse look because if it’s warmth with the wood touches and this garment clothing rack doesn’t disappoint! 
I put this in my large closet to add more functionality and storage. 
It has large storage shelves and is a great height.
I’ve placed containers, luggage & even made it a side pantry. It was easy to put together & again love the modern farmhouse look.
Packaged well and didn’t come damaged at all.

Beautiful, sturdy & trendy storage option -

My daughter's bedroom has a very small closet and she ran out of space for her clothes very quickly, fortunately this garment rack came to the rescue. It came well packed, all the pieces and instructions were included in the box. It was very ease to follow the instructions and put together in about 30 minutes with the help of a power tool. Once assembled we moved it inside her bedroom and were able to find the perfect spot for it. She immediately started putting stuff on the shelves and even hung some clothes. The organizer is made of metal and wood, is very stable and sturdy, doesn't wobble. I highly recommend it.

Great Space Saver

Damaged in multiple places. Not handled with care. Missing pre installed nails

Not worth the price

I am currently deployed so it took around 2.5 weeks for my Better Homes %26 Gardens Farmhouse Gray Wood and Metal Garment Rack to arrive. When I received my package it was open on one end but still intact…or so I thought. I am missing ALL the hardware so it is just a pile of metal. Tried to find out what I could do and was told to contact manufacturer. Tried finding a number and couldn't.

Missing all hardware

I dislike the coat rack because it is poorly put together.  The screws that hold the metal frame to the wood shelves are too small and therefore all (20) came out of holes.  I could not return it because I took it to Canada and already paid duty on it.  I bought 20 longer screws with 20 nuts and had to re-drill the holes.  Now it is way stronger and will never come apart!  (The tiny screw in the pic is what was used and the longer one and nut is what I used! (See before and after pics)
