I bought this cart because it was bigger than all the others out there. My kid is nearly 7 and this cart works great for him. It's very sturdy too and super easy to build. Don't be overwhelmed by all the pieces. Once you get going, it's nothing to build and the instructions are very simply to follow.

My 6 year old daughter loves her snacks and sweets cart! She recently played with it at a local candy store and fell in love, and I knew she had to have it! Lots of parts to put together, but everything was labeled very clearly and instructions were simple.

LOVE this toy!!!

My grandkids absolutely love the food cart !! They also have the diner and the store along with the diner uniforms. It's many hours of smiles and fun. They have pretty much all the Melissa & Doug food sets which makes it complete fun !!! They both should be spokes people for Melissa & Doug !! We love their products !!!!!!!!

Mia's new favorite toy!

Before my husband had time to assembly the cart, the kids already had so much fun playing with ice cream and snack pieces. They are made out of good quality wood and the size of them make they look so real. It took only 1-2 hours to fully assemble the cart. The cart was made of particle boards but it didn't really matter because these are just toys, don't need them to be that durable. The trays inside the card are spacious that could actually fit additional Melissa & Doug food items if you want to more items to it. But 40 pieces that come in this set is plentiful for our kids to spend endless hours playing. I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review.

The kids love it

We purchased the Melissa & Doug Snacks & Sweets Food Cart as a Christmas gift for our granddaughters, ages 3 & 5, and they love it!  Our grandsons, also 3 & 5, enjoyed playing with this cart as well!  We also purchased the Melissa & Doug Chef role play costumes for each. They loved dressing up in the chef costumes as they pretended to take our orders and serve us the play food items from their snack cart. The kids' imaginations kicked in as they pretended to operate their food cart business, prepared and sold their products, and served their customers. Great for sharing and playing together. The cart is sturdy and the play food is well built and colorful. Assembly is required so be sure to complete the assembly ahead of gifting this cart, if possible, so the kids can enjoy immediately! Very pleased with this purchase!

Snacks & Sweets Food Cart is Awesome!

Came in perfect condition, easy to assemble.  It is sturdy and functional. I love the little bell. This is not just a sweet treat ice cream cart. The canopy flips around as well as the insert on the front and then advertises hot dogs- drinks- pretzels! The top slides open either way so you can get to the food. On the one side you have 2 drawers rows with 6 sections each, that slide out to get to the food as well. All the snacks pictured on the front of the cart are the actual play food pretend customers can order. So much to choose from and so cute. The ice cream sandwiches and some of the popcicles hold together with velcro to mix many creations. The hot dogs have cool toppings. I love how the pretend mustard and ketchup look like they are coming out when pretending to pour with a weighted string. So cool! It is a little heavy, but my 3 and 4 year old can maneuver it around theirs play room no problem. I can't say enough about this creative set. The only thing negative is there are lids that come on and off the soda cans and little ice cream cups. For some reason the soda lids work great, but the ice cream cups do not stay on. They just pop off. I am going to call to see if their is any way to get more functioning ones.

I bought this as a surprise for my grandchildren. They were so excited and spent HOURS upon HOURS playing with it. It's sturdy, versatile, CUTE, and has so many food toys included.

Endless entertainment

We love it! Except ours came with a crack in the wood.

Item arrived damaged from the nuts, bolts and screws free floating throughout the package. The cart was scratched. We started putting together a few days before Christmas and the screws do not align up correctly to assemble. Not worth the money, we now have to scramble to find another Christmas gift 3 days before Christmas.
