I've had this rack for a month and a half and it has been amazing so far. Perfect rack for the money, definitely impressed by the stability. I really like the dip bars and pull up bar. It adds a lot of value. Definitely considering upgrading with the cable pull down eventually but the rack is great on its own.

Great rack for everyday use

I shopped around for a squat rack / power cage to replace my standard weight bench. I looked at several models in this general price range and decided to go with this one.  I'm glad I did.

The three main factors in my decision were
1.  The spotter arms. I lift alone and it's dangerous to try max weight /reps without a spotter. The safety arms fix that.
2.  The pull up bar. I was considering attaching a pull up bar to the ceiling joists in my garage. This makes that unnecessary. 
3.  The 1,0000 lb weight capacity. While I'll never come close to that, I don't even have 1,000 lbs of weights, I like that it far exceeds the weight I use. Some racks in this price range are only rated for half of that.

The box arrived a little beat up but intact. I unpacked and inventoried all parts before beginning assembly. All parts and hardware were present and accounted for.  Other than a few minor scuffs on the uprights, all of the parts were in good condition with no bent or dented parts.

I assembled the cage by myself, it took about an hour. It would be a little easier with an extra pair of hands but it really wasn't hard. 

I would STRONGLY recommend the use of an impact driver with a 17mm socket if you have one. It will cut assembly time in half.  At a minimum you'll want a ratchet wrench. Using only the included wrenches would also get the job done... eventually. 

The instructions are very straight forward, they're really just pictures showing each step. I followed the steps, installing all of the nuts and bolts just finger tight until I had the entire rack mocked up. Then I went through the entire rack with the impact driver and a wrench and tightened all of them. Be cautious during mockup, it's very unsteady until you tighten the lock nuts. You'll need to manually support it to keep it from falling over or potentially tweaking the assembly brackets. This is where a 2nd pair of hands would come in handy. 

Once everything was tightened the rack felt quite solid.  I'm 6'3" 215lbs and I can do pull ups or dips in it and the rack doesn't move. It's sturdy. 

Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase so far. Time will tell about durability but I feel like this rack will meet my needs for a long time.  I would definitely recommend this rack for the home gym enthusiast.

Best features in this $ range and easy assembly

After a lot of research I decided to go with this rack because of the functionality and the price point. I was concerned with the lack of quality control in many of the early reviews. However, I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. I can see how the pieces could be damaged in shipment with the vulnerable ends of the yellow bars at the ends of the box with little protection in the box. Thankfully mine were not damaged. They've improved the assembly instructions although they're still pretty basic. Assembly was easy. The key is not to fully tighten the bolts until the entire unit is assembled. Many people struggled because they fully tightened one by one and then found the holes to be out of alignment. It took me ~1.5 hours to fully assemble the rack. 

While this isn't the highest quality unit on the market, I would argue it is the best value for the money. Yeah there were a few paint scuffs and what not but it's a gym and it's meant to get used. Moreover, for >$1k you can get a complete home gym setup that gives you an incredible range of workouts to do. You just can't get that with most of the other options on the market.

I strongly encourage you to get the additional attachments including the lat pulldown, weight plate holders, t-bar row, and barbell clamp collars. The hole pattern in these rails is not the industry standard 2" and they really make this a complete home gym system.

Great value, great system with lots of extras

buy 75 3/8" ID stainless steel washers from Walmart, five packs of 15. you'll need them to put one washer on each side of every bolt. unfortunately they are not included. this stiffens everything up better and will reduce rust.

when I assembled this, which I bought solely for the purpose of doing pull-ups, I inverted the pull-up bar or I installed it backwards. my center of gravity is now in the center of the cage. I do not need sandbags or any kind of supports or weights on the rack itself because it does not wobble. this cage is made out of 16 gauge steel. make no mistake it's pretty cheap but it's still pretty well made. by changing the center of gravity I improved it a lot and you can too. invert the chin up bar when you install it. place chin up bar with handles facing in instead of facing out. face out when you do your pull-ups. good luck!

 I have this outdoors. uncovered. if you buy it for doing pull-ups, I recommend it.

great for what it is, buy washers

I was a little skeptical of the quality of this power cage before I bought it because of the low price but I figured if I don't like it I can take it back to my local Walmart for a refund. After I put it together,I was very impressed with how well it was made and how sturdy it is,this thing is as good or better as the ones being sold for double the price. I'm very happy with this purchase. I highly recommend this power cage from the "BalanceFrom" company to anyone looking for a great quality product at a very reasonable price.

Great product for the price.

I got the power cage back in Christmas of 2020 and have used it almost 5-6 days a week and has held up perfectly. I also just more recently purchased the lat pull down and cable crossover attachment and have no zero complaints with it. The attachment bolted on there flawlessly and other than scratching my head for a minute trying to figure out how the cables ran in there it only took me about 20 mins to bolt on the power cage. There is 1000% a better / fancier setup you can get but for a couple hundred bucks it's not being beat. Would buy again 100 times

Best value for dollar

If you are not good at putting things together with minimal instructions, this is not the rack for you. The instructions were literally just images with barely any wording. It reminded me of putting a puzzle together. 
However, the quality of the rack is very good for the price and is worth every penny. I bought the cable system to attach to this rack and that is what makes the rack worth it. Without the cables, it is a very basic piece of equipment. Although, I do wish that the rack came with spotter arms and a place to rack the plates. 
I recommend getting this if you are trying to start a home gym and do not want to spend $1500 .
