We bought 2 of these for 3 yr old and 4 yr old grandsons. We put them together in a couple of hours, the 2 of us with no problems. Charged overnight, and they drive them almost every day for 2 to 3 hours before we make them put away and back on chargers for the next day.

Boys love them!

I purchased one for my 3 year old grandson. Then, he would not share with his 4 year old sister. So, I purchased one for her too. Then, another one of my 4 year old grandsons wanted one too!  So, we have purchased three of these. The kiddos love them and are having a blast. They go faster than any battery operated 4 wheeler that I have ever purchased. It goes over terrain and doesn't work us all to death trying to get them “unstuck”.  My granddaughter will raise up off the seat and yell, “woohoo!!” As she is 4 wheeling passed us all. We are all enjoying see our kiddos truly having a blast on them. The 4 wheeler is heavy duty, not lightweight. The forward motion has two speeds slow and fast. Then it has reverse. The shifter reminds me of a kid version of a standard auto shifter.  Just super cool and easy for my grands to adjust after they practiced once or twice, then they had it down!  I never write reviews on products, but this one needed some praise. It's been a long time since I have been pleased with the quality of such things because of the decline of quality in general after the pandemic. I definitely recommend this product and would take the time to search one out if you're looking to buy anything like this. You will not be disappointed. (I have tons of videos, but it would only let me upload pictures).

Best Purchase-We Bought 3!!

This battery operated Yamaha 4-wheeler has been an excellent choice for my 3 yr old grandson. 
The battery is securely covered from a toddlers inquisitive nature by a screw.
Simply remove the one screw to uncover the battery to hook up to the charger.
Long lasting charge. Has enough power to go up inclines. 
The shifter  for forward and reverse could be a bit more sturdy. A toddler can be rough shifting the gear throttle.
We haven't had it long enough to see the overall longevity of this item.
At this time I do give it 5 stars. Easy for children to operate under parental guidance.

My Grandson Loves his Yamaha

The max weight capacity alone should be enough to make you buy this one! It is MORE THAN double that of other popular brands. It rides effortlessly on any terrain! The high and low gear option is great for speed and control. Stop wasting your time comparing other ATV's, trust me I did it for you! Just buy it! I brought 2, and my kids have the fastest, longest battery life and most realistic 4 wheelers in our subdivision!

Best ATV on the market for long term use!

Assembly took about 45 minutes. 2.5 speed is enough for a starting 3 year old. Once they are comfortable, they will want to go up to 5 speed. It works good on grass, dirt, and even soft sand.  Safety feature of stopping as soon as u let off the “gas” is a plus. Battery lasts long enough to tire them out.

Better than expected

I have done alot of research on these ride on toys. I read all the customer reviews, which I rely HEAVILY on so I am inclined to review this item as to help future shoppers like myself. Ok so it was a toss up between this one and the preg prego (i think that's the name) which was very close in price. One of the biggest selling points for us was the weight max on this one. Its 130 lbs! I actually rode this and went up a semi-steep hill and its pulled my 128 lb butt right up the hill. Our daughter just turned 6 and she is a big girl. She has always been big therefore the others that max out at 65 lbs wasn't going to work. She is about 60 lbs now. What I like about this item is this: 1)-the weight max 130 lbs! 2)-it was SO EASY TO ASSEMBLE! 3)-it will be able to used by our daughter for at least 2 more years (minimum) until we can get her a full sized gas one! 4)-this Quad goes over gravel,hills,grass and has pretty good traction for a 12 volt kids toy. I like that it has 2 speeds and reverse. It was about $230 with tax and it was delivered earlier than expected! Shipping was free. It has a pedal on the right side (foot) and the shift is in the middle. Our daughter knows how to work it and just loves the fact that she can go up on the lawn to the street and up small hills. She loves the independence it gives her and I can walk the dogs and she can drive along with us. I do wish it went a bit faster but as far as all the 12 volt ride on's go this is standard. There is 1 I saw that goes 3 & 6 mph. This one goes 2.5 mph & 5 mph. I don't think the .5 mph is going to be that noticeable. Anyway, she just LOVES her present and I would DEFINITELY recommend this to anyone in the market for one of these. I also like the fact that she can ride alone or have a friend ride on behind her. The other ones were side by side (seating) but this is more rough and tough like-more-sporty. Its purple and white. This will keep her happy until she is old enough for a "real" one. The battery was charged for the min 14 hours. actually we charged it for like 22 hours! it held up for about 2 1/2 -3 hours of riding. So far she has only ridden it around the house and neighborhood. But looking forward to taking it somewhere she can really go up and down and on bumpy rides. This Quad CAN HANDLE WHAT SHE DISHES OUT! We live in Suffolk County LI, NY.The south shore is pretty flat but I know of a few spots where she can ride it for a bumpy hilly ride! I wish we had gotten it for her when she was younger so she could have enjoyed it for longer! Great for 4 yrs and up! Very Happy Purchase!
