A T-900 Replacement It Is Not
Five months ago my very old and much appreciated Norelco T-900 permanently died, it was more than twenty years old. The battery had died so I had to use the cord and even that finally quit working. I searched for a replacement and settled on this 3000 series trimmer. My biggest objection, in addition to the adjustment and lack of the pop up trimmer which I used a lot, is that the "guide" is rigid and doesn't swivel to follow face contours like the old T-900 did. I used this trimmer again this morning and made a real effort to try to more closely follow by tilting, twisting and contorting in an effort to force the 3000 to do what the T-900 did effortlessly. If Phillips reintroduced the T-900 I'd buy one in a heartbeat ... until them I'm still looking.
